ÏãåúÖ±²¥ Professor presents at International Conference 
The Philippine Forestry Education Network (PFEN), Inc., a distinguished non-stock and non-profit organization comprising accredited forestry schools in the Philippines, proudly announced its inaugural International Conference this past October 25-27, 2023. Themed "Engaging the Academe to Lead in the Revitalization of the Wood and Wood-based Industries for Economic Recovery," the event took place at the University of Mindanao, Davao City. 
ÏãåúÖ±²¥ Marks Milestone with First Graduates from Master of Arts in Education Programs  
ÏãåúÖ±²¥ proudly announces a momentous occasion as it celebrates the graduation of the first students from its newly established graduate programs in education.  The first Graduate Hooding Ceremony, held on December 8th, marked a significant milestone in the university's commitment to academic excellence and the advancement of education.  Graduates were also recognized during the Fall Commencement Ceremony on December 9th.

This past week the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) hosted 130 students from 13 Appalachian colleges and universities for the 23rd annual Appalachian Collegiate Research Initiative (ACRI) symposium at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View in Arlington, Virginia.

In a heartwarming gesture, President Manchin personally distributed over 500 candy canes to students across campus to inspire confidence and provide a sweet boost as they tackle their year-end exams.
ÏãåúÖ±²¥ to receive $400,000 to advance technology in mental health awareness
U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development West Virginia State Director Ryan Thorn today announced that Rural Development is investing $3.2 million in 4 organizations to help people in rural West Virginia access remote education and health care resources. Rural Development is making this announcement on National Rural Health Day. 
ÏãåúÖ±²¥â€™s Debate Team Notches Strong Finish in Online Tournament 
ÏãåúÖ±²¥'s (GSU) Pioneer Debate team competed in the National Educational Debate Association's (NEDA) Fall Online Tournament Saturday, November 4. The tournament included 53 individual competitors from eight schools, including Ball State University, University of Dayton, Grove City College, Pennsylvania State University, and more.
